Update on the security situation in Uganda 4 July 2014

There have been news reports in recent days regarding security alerts at different airports in the UK and US and in other parts of the world, including Entebbe airport in Uganda.

Currently travel to and from Uganda remains unaffected and Entebbe airport continues to operate normally. The Ugandan authorities have taken this issue very seriously and have tightened up security at the airport and in parts of Kampala. They are working with major international partners in this process.

Travel to and from Uganda and to major tourism destinations in the country is proceeding normally.

Volcanoes Safaris continues to operate safaris normally. We are monitoring the situation closely and if there are any developments we will inform clients/agents accordingly.

Please get in touch with your sales consultant if you need any further information.
