|11 May 2018 In recent weeks there have been media reports of security incidents near Virunga National Park in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo

All Volcanoes lodges are operating normally.
There have been reports of an outbreak of Ebola in a remote part of NorthWestern DRC. The World Health Organisation, the Centres for Disease Control and the DRC government are taking steps to address the situation. Travel to Uganda and Rwanda is not affected.
