Volcanoes Safaris team visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund

The team from Volcanoes Safaris had the privilege of being shown around the newly opened Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Kinigi, Rwanda by Tara Stoinski CEO of DFGFI. A proud day for Rwanda’s long standing contribution to the conservation of mountain gorillas, for the legacy of Dian Fossey and the amazing research work that DFGFI continue to do. We wish the campus great success and will be announcing a new partnership with DFGFI shortly. The visit also marked the twentieth anniversary of Volcanoes Safaris organising the visit of the DFGFI Board to Volcanoes National Park in 2002 to mark the centenary of the official sighting of a mountain gorilla in 1902 by von Beringe.
