Abel comes from Junior Quarters village, Lira District in Northern Uganda. He holds a Bachelor’s in Science and Forestry from Makerere University.

Abel worked as an intern forester at Nile Fiberboard Limited in 2022 and a Field Forester at Fair Ventures worldwide Uganda in 2023 before joining Volcanoes Safaris as a botanist Kibale Lodge.

Outside work, Abel enjoys photography, sports and reading.
