Celine Ishimwe was born and raised in Kigali, Rwanda. In 2020, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Botany and conservation from the University of Rwanda. Celine worked as a conservation teaching assistant at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and a botanical gardener at Nyandungu eco-park before joining Volcanoes Safaris as a botanist. Outside work, Celine enjoys listening to Music, traveling and being around friends.
