Tree Planting Project

The VSPT, in partnership with the Mvule Trust, constructed a tree nursery and conservation outreach program around Kyambura Gorge Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda.

VSPT aims to establish a large nursery of 400,000 indigenous trees. Tree seedlings are planted in the VSPT 100-acre Kyambura Buffer zone alongside Kyambura Gorge, as well as distributed to community members to plant at their homes

Lodge guests are encouraged to participate in the reforestation project during their stay at Kyambura Gorge Lodge by planting a tree seedling in the buffer zone and donating towards the project.
