Volcanoes Safaris Update on Eastern Congo 12 April 2018

In recent weeks there have been media reports of security incidents near Virunga National Park in Eastern DRC. The situation in southern Uganda and Rwanda remains normal and is not affected by the situation in Eastern DRC. Volcanoes Safaris does not operate in DRC. The government of Uganda and Rwanda have reinforced security in the border areas. Travel to all areas of Uganda and Rwanda continues normally and gorilla tracking in Bwindi and Mgahinga in Uganda and Parc National des Volcans in Rwanda is operating normally.
