Sam Waako was born and raised in Jinja, a town in Eastern Uganda, where the famous River Nile originates.
He has been a guide for over ten years and is fluent in several languages, including English, Swahili, Luganda, and Lusoga.
One of his favourite places to take guests is Queen Elizabeth National Park, where they can trek chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge, enjoy game drives to see African elephants, lions, and buffalo and birding.
Sam is passionate about conservation and nature.
